About Course

The “Advanced Excel and Power BI” course is designed for individuals seeking to enhance their data analysis and visualization skills. Participants will learn advanced Excel techniques for data manipulation and analysis, as well as how to create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.

Course Objectives:

• To provide participants with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• To introduce participants to Power BI for data visualization, analysis, and dashboard creation.
• To equip participants with the skills to leverage both Excel and Power BI for business intelligence purposes.
• To prepare participants for real-world data analysis and reporting tasks

• Design and create dynamic and interactive dashboards in Excel.
• Understand the fundamentals of Power BI and its components.
• Import, clean, and transform data using Power BI.

ADVANCED EXCEL:

Module 1: Advanced Excel Functions and Features

• Working on Tables and Data
• Advanced functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS)
• Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts for data analysis
• Data validation and conditional formatting techniques

Module 2: Advanced Data Analysis in Excel

• What-If Analysis tools (e.g., Scenario Manager, Goal Seek)
• Advanced charting techniques
• Macros and VBA for automation

Module 3: Excel Dashboards and Reporting

• Design principles for effective dashboards
  Building interactive dashboards using slicers, timelines, and controls
  Dynamic charting and reporting techniques

POWER BI

Module 4: Introduction to Power BI

• Overview of Power BI and its components
• Connecting to data sources in Power BI
• Data transformation and modeling in Power BI

Module 5: Data Visualization in Power BI

• Creating visualizations (e.g., bar charts, line charts, scatter plots) in Power BI
• Applying filters and slicers for interactive visualizations

Module 6: Power BI Reports and Dashboards

• Designing and formatting reports in Power BI Desktop
• Building interactive dashboards in Power BI Service
• Sharing and collaborating on reports and dashboards

Module 7: Advanced Power BI Features
